This position is also referred to as a Wheelchair or Wheel Chair Driver or Chair Van Driver.
STAT SouthCoast Emergency Medical Services is a growing, locally owned and managed company.
$1000 sign on bonus (paid out at $100/week for 10 weeks upon completion of training) In this position you will be responsible for providing high quality non-emergent wheelchair transportation while providing exceptional customer service and assuring that safety remains the highest priority.
Chair Van Drivers / Wheelchair Drivers operate a lift equipped van providing door to door transportation services to our ambulatory and wheelchair patients, by bringing them to and from doctor's appointments and medical procedures.
Chair Car Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Non-medical operations while demonstrating excellent driving judgement and due regard for public safety during operating and positioning vehicle.
Responds to all assigned calls in the most appropriate, safe, and efficient manner.
Completes all appropriate transport paperwork and logs.
Maintains vehicle and equipment in a clean, organized and ready condition after each run.
Ensures vehicle has proper fuel, fluid and tire pressure levels at all times.
Reports equipment damage or malfunctions immediately.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
