Answers questions and recommends products.
o Prepares food items for sampling using food preparation equipment, including food utensils, small convection oven, food service warmers, condiment dispensers.
o Receives and stores food items in the freezer and cooler.
o Keeps the food, supply, and sample area neat and clean.
o Stocks utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, and other items when necessaryo Cleans all cooking equipment and areas exposed to food products, including countertops and food preparation areas.
o Displays, stocks, rotate, and stores products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures.
o Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.
Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows appropriate product salvage policies and procedures.
o Follows all company safety and sanitation procedures.
o Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes all food service areas at the close of business.
o Maintains all club policies and procedures.
o Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
o Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this jobQualificationso Food service experience preferred.
o Prior experience working in a customer service environment preferredo At least 18 years of age.
Job Conditionso Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces.
There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping.
o Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects in excess of 30 pounds with assistance.
o Located in a comfortable indoor area with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises.
There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
