Screen all incoming callers and visitors to protect confidentiality and guide visitors/callers to appropriate destination Answer all incoming calls within two rings at telephone switchboard in a courteous manner and deliver messages as needed.
Page through the intercom all meetings and personnel needed for telephone calls.
Sort the mail by staff name, departments, or patients/residents name.
Give mail for patients/residents to the patient's/resident's Therapist.
Make sure all paper in shred box is shred as time allows on shift.
Log all applications that come in into the applicant log.
Initial and date each application.
Pull applications from application files that are over 6 months old and shred them.
Fax documents as required from various department heads.
Work on projects assigned by HR Director.
Maintain adequate copies of applications available for new applicants.
Maintain receptionist office in clean, organized manner with all necessary supplies:
post-it notes, paperclips, staples, mailing material pens etc Follow all safety policies and adhere to all worker's compensation program guidelines.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of job-related responsibility.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
